wow. is it just me, or is there an immediate dissatisfaction on ruby's part when the gator becomes an inanimate object in her hands rather than an animate tickling playmate?
I feel much the same way after killing something with my bare hands. As it struggles and fights, I am, for the moment, destracted from the banality of my own existence, but as soon as its life ebbs like the dirty water of a bath down the drain, I lose interest, and feel revulsion and antipathy towards all life.
What a horrific video. I can't believe you just stood by while your child fought for her life! Of course, as Darwin would have it, the one most fit to survive, did.
Also: Would you two quit having such cute children already? You're screwing up the curve!

That poor gator never stood a chance!
